UPDATE 7/11/24:
The vehicle and pedestrian gates are now operational and ready for use.
- The new gate is on a card reader system after hours (enter with card access through pedestrian gate, then push the button to operate the vehicle gate; exiting in vehicle will be automatic). The other gates will continue to be padlocked. If your card isn’t already programmed into the pedestrian gate reader, please contact Work Control Center to request access (541-346-2319).
- Per city requirement, a click2enter system will be in place for emergency vehicles.
- The gate will be open during regular business hours.
UPDATE 7/08/24:
- The new vehicle gate will be available for use once the temporary fencing has been removed. This is expected to happen by the end of the day today.
- The pedestrian gate is waiting to be programmed and should be completed by the end of the week. An update will be sent when it is ready for use.
UPDATE 6/10/24:
Installation of new fence posts is scheduled for 6/12. Electrical and concrete forms for sidewalk on 6/13. Sidewalk pour scheduled for 6/14. Asphalt resurfacing to occur next week, date to be determined. After which, the vehicle gate may be manually open to vehicle traffic – if the opportunity allows – while final wiring, programming, and testing take place. Once new fence panels are installed and construction site fencing is removed, closures will continue whenever work is occurring in or around the entrance. The pedestrian gate at the SE corner of the CPFM Administration building will continue to be the primary egress for pedestrians until the new pedestrian gate is fully operational. The end date for this project has been extended to June 28th.
