The State inspection has been rescheduled and the elevator should be up and running on Friday, January 17th.
We are waiting for the State to inspect the elevator so this project has been extended until January 7th. Construction activities for the elevator project will be complete by December 31st. Before we can turn it over for use the state elevator inspector has to sign off and the soonest we can get that inspection is January 7th.
Due to unforeseen site conditions, more drilling needs to occur, which will cause the project to be extended. It is now expected to be completed by mid-December.

Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted: Oregon Hall Freight Elevator, this elevator will not be available for use.
Scope: Otis Elevator will be refurbishing the service elevator on the north side of the building. Intermittent construction noise related to drilling, hammering, and roto-hammering fasteners into the concrete ceiling of the shaft are to be expected. When that is complete, the elevator jack will be replaced. At that time, another notice will be sent out describing the noise impacts associated with this second phase of work.
Extra Notes: Work is being performed by Preferred Construction and Otis Elevator Company.
