5/07/24 Huestis Hall Toilets and Mop Sinks Testing Shutdown

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Huestis Hall

Scope:  Reclaimed water system (used to flush toilets and mop sinks) will be down while reclaimed water skid is undergoing functional testing.

Services Impacted:  Toilets and mop sinks will be offline during this time.

Special Instructions:  Please use facilities in nearby buildings.

5/04/24 – 5/05/24 Huestis Hall Supply and Exhaust Air Shutdown

Begin:  Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 7:00 am

End:      Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 3:30 pm

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Huestis Hall – levels 1, 2, and 3, plus suite 34 in the basement

Scope:  Supply and exhaust air will be offline Saturday and Sunday, May 4th and 5th to allow contractors to enlarge the exhaust air plenum connection in the penthouse. This should alleviate the high static pressure presenting as audible whistling in the building.

Services Impacted:

  • AHU-3, -4, & -5 will be offline.
  • Lab exhaust fans will still be operational to provide fume hood exhaust.
