Scope: Painting is scheduled to take place in Oregon Hall Dean of Students suite starting Monday, September 29. In preparation for this work, all items must be removed from the walls designated for painting, and a minimum three-foot clearance must be maintained in front of these surfaces. Personal belongings should be cleared from any furniture positioned against the walls, and the furniture itself must be moved at least three feet away from any area scheduled to be painted.
Wall-mounted items will be removed by the CPFM staff unless they are fragile or of high value. In such cases, occupants are responsible for removing these items in advance to ensure their safety.
If you require assistance from CPFM in preparation, at your earliest convenience please contact Chris Hallam at 541-346-2091 or via email at challam@uoregon.edu, or reach out to Toby Christen-Malone via MS Teams or email at tobyc@uoregon.edu.
If a room is not properly prepared for painting, it will be skipped and rescheduled for a later date, subject to availability in the painting crew’s schedule.
Services Impacted: The paint being used is Low-VOC, non-toxic and produces only a mild odor.
Special Instructions: Individuals who are sensitive to smells may wish to arrange with their supervisor for an alternate workspace, work remotely, or consider taking leave during the period their office is being painted.
