Esslinger Hall Electrical Shutdown 2/26/22

Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted:  Esslinger Hall – First Floor and Possibly Basement Level

Scope:  Contractors will shut down power to Panels C1 and C2 to terminate 8 circuits and re-feed additional circuits for rooms 112 and 116.

Services Impacted:  Power will be offline on the first floor and possibly affect some circuits in the basement level.

Special Instructions:  Please shut down and unplug all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. The software on these machines can be negatively affected due to the power surge when the power is turned back on.  A power surge can corrupt the clone files in the machines and change preconfigured settings.

Frohnmayer Music Trench Work and Noise Advisory 2/15/22

Scope:  To facilitate wall sealing, a trench will be dug beside the east wall of the Frohnmayer Music building, outside rooms 150 and 178.

Services Impacted:

  • Some equipment noise can be expected around the area of rooms 035, 150, and 178.
  • Half-lane restriction on access road to Parking Lot 20 and the Frohnmayer east loading area.

HEDCO South Elevator Intermittently Working 2/9/22 – Unknown

UPDATE 3/8/22:
Repairs have been completed on the South elevator.

 

UPDATE 2/10/22:
The elevator is running again. There is an intermittent issue with the door closing but it automatically resets itself.

Scope:  The south elevator is working intermittently. The Otis elevator technician is on-site investigating. An update will be sent when repairs are completed.
