Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Hendricks Hall – entrance areas for the NW and E sides

Scope:  Maintenance staff will be pressure washing multiple entrances at Hendricks Hall on the NW side of the building to clean off organic material build up. The stairwell on the east side leading into vestibule 026 will also be cleaned.

Services Impacted:

• Building users can expect elevated noise levels in the area from the pressure washing equipment.
• Building users are advised to avoid using the entryways at stairwell S103, S104, and the entrance at hallway 100 on the west side of the building during work.
• Building users should avoid using the stairwell on the east side of the building leading to vestibule 026 as well.

Special Instructions:  Building users will be able to enter and exit through stairwell S102 or Lobby 119.

Scope:  Maintenance staff will be pressure washing the brick and concrete areas around the two North East entrances to the stairwells.

Services Impacted:  Both stairwell entrances will be closed for the duration of the work.  Noise from the pressure washing equipment can be expected in and around the building.

Special Instructions:  Please use alternate entry and exit points in the lobby area 111 or stairwell S101 during this time.

Scope:  We will be pulling our boom lift into the egress walkway on the south end of Straub Hall to reach gutter downspouts inside the south courtyard.  We will be working above the S196 stairwell exit on the downspout collection boxes.

Services Impacted:  There will be no egress in or out of the south Straub courtyard on this walkway.
