UPDATE:
Western Asphalt will be back on Monday morning, August 5th, to paint the EV and ADA spaces.  The three lots listed will be shut down Sunday night and closed throughout the day on Monday.  However, once the paint is dry, the signs will be removed and the lots will be reopened.

The time has been extended an additional two hours, from 6:00 am to 11:00 am.

Scope:  Graffiti proof sealant will be applied to the exterior brick on Level 1/ground floor of Huestis Hall. The early morning hours were selected to decrease the amount of disruption to occupants during a typical work day. This notice is subject to rescheduling if weather conditions are unfavorable for installation.

Outage affecting Huestis basement: AHU 1 and 2 and lab exhaust fans will be offline during this work activity.

Advisory to Lokey Labs and Willamette Hall: Neighbors of Huestis Hall may experience odors due the sealant material.

Begin:  Thursday, October 6th, 2022

End:      Sunday, October 9th, 2022 – end of day

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  CPFM Compound Parking

Scope:  The parking areas north and south of Building 130, as well as parking between Building 130 and 136 will be restriped on Sunday, October 9th.

To prepare the surface for the striping, all vehicles will need to be moved from the project area (see pic) by the end of day on Thursday, October 6th. This will allow for pressure washing, scouring and blowing of surface debris on Friday and Saturday, October 7th and 8th.

Services Impacted:  The parking areas around building 130, 136, and other outbuildings in the CPFM compound will be closed for cleaning and restriping.

Special Instructions:  If a vehicle is assigned to you, please park the vehicle in the gravel area of the back 40 in an orderly fashion. Parking will return to normal operations on the morning of Monday, October 10th.

CPS 101 & 112 Construction Notice 2/17-4/16

UPDATE 3/31: Due to a materials delay this work has been delayed and should be complete on 4/16.

Begin:  Wednesday, February 17, 2021

End:  Friday, March 31st, 2021 (may end earlier, tbc) April, 16, 2021

Building Impacted:  Central Power Station, Rooms 101 and 112.

Scope:  Build 2 new full height dividing walls in each space. Work involves carpentry, electrical, drywall and paint.

Services Impacted:

  • No electrical or HVAC disruptions are known at this time. A shut down notice will be issued as necessary.
  • Building access will be maintained during construction.
  • Users can expect to hear construction noises like hammering, drilling, grinding and see employees and UO staff entering and exiting the building during normal business hours. Contractor to control dust.
  • Construction to start first in room 112 and begin at a later date in room 101.
  • Lockers in room 101 to be relocated to a new location per your building manager.

Tykeson Hall Exterior Work Advisory 9/16/20 – 9/22/20

UPDATE 9/21/20:

The stain was not able to be applied over the weekend due to weather conditions. The work will continue today and tomorrow.

 

Begin:  Wednesday, September 16th, 2020

End:      Sunday, September 20th, 2020  Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020

Building or Area Impacted:  Tykeson Hall

Scope:

  • Wednesday, September 16, Fortis and Mac Group will be power washing the exterior branding quotations concrete panels at the north and south entries of Tykeson Hall. North and South entry access will be impacted while they are working.
  • The crew will return over the weekend, September 19-20 to apply stain to the concrete panels. North and South entry access will be unavailable during this period. East and West entry points will remain open and accessible for entry and egress.

Extra Notes:  All work is subject to change due to outdoor air quality and weather conditions.

Pacific Hall Rooms 202, 203, and 204 Remodel Advisory 9/2/20 – 11/30/20

UPDATE: The scope of the work has been expanded and is projected to finish on 11/30.

Begin:  Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020

End:      Friday, October 23rd 30th, 2020 November 6th 30th, 2020

Building Impacted:  Pacific Hall 202, 203, 204

Scope:  Remodel of 3 suites to connect suites and refresh finishes, electrical, lighting, mechanical ventilation system and add new storefront entries.  Minor asbestos abatement is required.

Services Impacted:

  • Asbestos abatement will occur in suites 202 and 204 from 9/2 to 9/4.  It will not impact suite 203. Additional asbestos abatement will occur the week of 10/19.
  • Construction to begin 9/14.
  • No electrical or HVAC disruptions are known at this time.  A shut down notice will be issued as necessary.
  • Users can expect to hear construction noises like hammering and drilling, and see employees and UO staff entering and exiting the building during normal business hours.
