Building(s) or Area(s) Affected: Lokey Labs
Scope: As part of the Huestis Hall Renovation project, there will be a final series of electrical shutdowns necessary to complete the project of separating the feeder connections from Huestis Hall and refeed Lokey Labs. The final series of electrical shutdowns will occur on November 13, 15, 16, and 20 and will affect Lokey Labs. Affected services and durations are listed by date below.
Monday, November 13, 6:00 am – 9:00 am at Lokey Labs
6:00 am – 7:00am Lighting control panels and lights will be offline for the first hour.
6:00 am – 9:00 am This shutdown will turn off the supply air handling units and lab exhaust fans, chilled water pumps and heating water pumps for 3 hours. Siemens will monitor for alarms.
Wednesday, November 15, 6:00 am – 9:00 am at Lokey Labs
6:00 am – 7:00 am Lighting control panels and lights will be offline for the first hour.

Thursday, November 16, 6:00 am – 8:00 am at Lokey Labs
All normal power supply will be offline for the 2-hour duration. Users are advised to safely power down equipment the night before or ensure that critical equipment is plugged into a standby outlet or UPS.
Monday, November 20, Thursday, November 30, 6:00 am – 8:00 am at Lokey Labs
All normal power supply will be offline for the 2-hour duration. Users are advised to safely power down equipment the night before or ensure that critical equipment is plugged into a standby outlet or UPS.
Special Instructions: Please shut down and unplug all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. The software on these machines can be negatively affected due to the power surge when the power is turned back on.
