10/31/25 – 11/02/25 Riverfront Parkway Paving and Odor Advisory

End:      Sunday, November 2, 2025 – end of day

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Riverfront Parkway

Scope:  Contractors will be installing asphalt paving in the areas shown on the map below on Friday, October 31st and Sunday, November 2nd.

Services Impacted:  Buildings adjacent to areas being paved may experience asphalt odor during the work. The road closure is already in effect per previous notice to campus.

Special Instructions:  Please use the detour routes already in place via Moss St., Villard St., or Walnut St.

10/27/25 – 11/04/25 Riverfront Parkway Road Work and Closure Advisory

UPDATE:
Riverfront Parkway has been reopened to traffic.

 

Begin:  Monday, October 27, 2025, at 6:00 am

End:      November 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm     Tuesday, November 4, 2025 – effective immediately

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Riverfront Parkway

Scope:  The contractor must remove significant roadway material in all lanes of Riverfront Parkway. They will then rebuild and repave the roadway to meet the City of Eugene’s requirements.

Services Impacted:

  • All lanes of Riverfront Parkway will be closed.  (See map for detour route)
  • The east sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian traffic.

7/17/25 – 7/31/25 Lot 7B (McKenzie Hall), Lot 55 (Moss St.), and University St. Pavement and Concrete Work Advisory

2nd UPDATE 7/21/25:

  • Moss Street will be closed from 17th Ave to the driveway to Lot 34E. Lot 34E will remain accessible via 15th and Moss. Temporary parking for Moss Street Children’s Center pick up and drop off is available in Lot 46.

UPDATE 7/21/25:

  • University street now includes spots 177 – 199 and only closed from 7/17 – 7/25
  • All of Lot 7B will be restricted for July 21 – 23, the reserve 24 min load/unload and ADA space will be restricted 7/18/25 – 7/31/25

End:      Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 4:00 pm

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Lot 7B, Lot 55, and University Street

Scope:  Pavement and concrete work to repair large potholes at the locations listed.

Services Impacted:  This will impact parking, street access, and sidewalks.

  • 7/17/25 – 7/25/25 7/31/25   University Street – Spaces 177 – 199  177 – 178 and 194 – 199
  • 7/18/25 – 7/31/25          Lot 7B – Please reserve 24 min load/unload and ADA space
    • 7/21/25 – 7/23/25    All of Lot 7B
    • 7/18/25 – 7/31/25    The reserve 24 min load/unload and ADA space will be restricted
  • 7/21/25 – 7/25/25         Lot 55 – Moss Street northbound lane – No parking impacted

POSTPONED – Lot #43 (South of Knight Law) Repaving Project Advisory

UPDATE:
This work has been postponed.  An update will be sent when it has been rescheduled.

End:      Friday, July 11, 2025, at 4:00 pm

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Parking Lot #43

Scope:  The parking lot south of Knight Law Center will be repaved.

Services Impacted:  The entire parking lot and driveway will be closed during project.
