Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Student Recreation Center (SRC) – Basement Rooms 41-46, 53-54, 66-77

Scope:  An emergency repair is needed on heating coil #10.  AHU-10 is also going to be down during this time.  Crews will troubleshoot the system Tuesday morning.  An update will be sent when service has been restored.

Services Impacted:  All the heat will be offline in the listed rooms.

Special Instructions:  Please dress accordingly.

1/21/26 Onyx Bridge/EHS Rooms 072-075 Fire Sprinkler Shutdown

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Onyx Bridge – rooms 072 – 075

Scope:  As part of the EHS ground floor project, Harvey & Price will need to shut down the fire sprinkler system. IES will be on site to monitor the fire panel.

Services Impacted:  All spaces are within the construction site; no occupied spaces will be impacted.

Details:  Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
