Domestic Water:   Willamette Hall

Processed Chilled Water:  Willamette Hall, Lokey Labs, Lewis Integrative Science Building

Scope:  The domestic hot and cold water will be shut down during an investigation of the chilled water system.

UPDATE:  Process chilled water will also be shut down affecting cooling in Willamette Hall, Lokey Labs, and the Lewis Integrative Science Building.

Services Impacted:  All domestic water will be offline, affecting restrooms, sinks, and drinking fountains.

Special Instructions:  Please plan on using the facilities in nearby buildings during this time.

Building:  Willamette Hall

Scope:   The UO Fire Marshal will be performing an emergency repair of the fire alarm system.  There will be intermittent alarm horns and strobes sounding and flashing throughout the repair as necessary to ensure proper operation of the system. They will be minimized when possible.  The repair could last through Friday, December 19^th, at 6:00 pm.

Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Agate Hall – Rooms 126, 128, 130, 132, H121, H125, and H127

Scope:  CPFM Facilities will be moving large cabinets into H121. Preferred Construction will be installing them in Room 132. There will be some construction noise while the cabinets are being secured. Also, the wall between H125 and H127 is being painted.

Services Impacted:  Furniture will be staged in H121, and some noise may be heard throughout the building.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  1658 Columbia Alley, Knight Law Parking Lot, Military Science, Vivian Olum, Ombuds (521), and Oregon Law Clinic (536)

Scope:  A fence is being removed 12/16/2025 and temporary fencing installed at 1658 Columbia Alley. A premanufactured shed will be installed on the site and permanent fencing will be built during winter break. Shed installation is scheduled for 9:00 am on Friday, December 19^th.

Services Impacted:  Columbia Alley will be blocked during the installation of the shed. Grounds Crew will not be able to use the north gate into their compound.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  University Hall

Scope:  Delta Sand and Gravel will be working on a sewer line leaving University Hall. They will be working in the manhole located at the southeast corner of the building.

Services Impacted:  Plumbing is NOT to be used in University Hall for the duration of the work. This includes restrooms, breakroom sinks, and anything that drains to sanitary sewer.

Special Instructions: Restrooms are available to use in Villard Hall.
