Scope:  One large-scale sculpture will be deinstalled in the JSMA’s North Courtyard.

Services Impacted:

  • Access to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art’s parking lot (including one ADA parking spot), loading dock, security entrance, bike cage, trash collection, north courtyard, north sidewalk, and the west side of Susan Campbell Hall will be limited during crane work operations (7:00 am – 5:00 pm).
  • Crane staging and art crating will be located in the JSMA’s parking lot.
  • There will be limited access to the west end of Johnson Lane.

Scope:   The fire alarm system will be tested related to the current basement remodeling project.

Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.

Services Impacted:  Lab compressed air devices will not work. Experiments requiring compressed air should be re-scheduled for a different time.
