Culver Glass has rescheduled this for tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18^th, starting at 8:00 am.

UPDATE 11/13/25:
Culver Glass just informed us that this has been postponed due to some emergency work and the weather.  The new date is yet to be determined.

UPDATE 11/12/25:
Culver Glass will be performing a second round of work on the exterior windows tomorrow 11/13 and Friday 11/14.

Scope: Culver Glass will be performing preventative maintenance on the exterior windows.

Services Impacted:

• Occupants can expect to see contractors using ladders, scaffolding or lifts to scrape and caulk the windows around the building exterior.
• All work will be performed outside the building and no other impacts are anticipated.

UPDATE:  The repair has been completed, and steam is now being returned to the building.  It may take several hours before full building heat and hot water are available.

Scope:  Steam has been turned off for an emergency leak repair.

Services Impacted:

• No building heat or hot water will be available until the repair is complete.
• Minimal impact is expected as catering is currently shutdown at this time.

On Wednesday, September 24^th, fire systems testing and maintenance will take place at Alder Building instead of 1776 Millrace.

Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
