6/13/22 Hayward Field Steam Shutdown

Begin:  Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 7:00 am

End:      Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 3:00 pm

Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted:  Hayward Field

Scope:  Due to two damaged and leaking condensate return pumps, the steam will be shutdown down to Hayward Field to replace both pumps.

Services Impacted:  The heat and hot water will be offline during this time.

6/13/22 – 6/14/22 Streisinger and Lokey Labs Steam Shutdown

UPDATE:
This ended up taking place later on a different notification. (8/24/22 – 8/25/22)

 

POSTPONED:

Due to unusually cold weather and negative impacts to critical research, the steam shutdown and condensate pump repairs are postponed.

Begin:  June 13, 2022 at 3:00 pm TBD

End:      June 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm TBD

Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted:  Streisinger and Lokey Labs

Scope:  Due to failed and leaking condensate return pumps, the steam will be shutdown to replace both pumps.

Services Impacted:  Building heating will be off for 24 hours.

RESCHEDULED:

Begin:  Friday, June 10th, 2022 at 8:00 am – Monday, June 13th

End:  Friday, June 10th, 2022 at 4:00 pm – Monday, June 13th

Buildings Affected:  Huestis and Lokey Labs

Scope:  As part of the Huestis Renovation Project, RO water will be shutdown to Huestis and Lokey Labs for approximately 8 hours.

Services Impacted:  RO water will be offline during this time.
