Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted:  Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

Scope:  The clean steam generator needs to have the steam isolation valve and the tube bundle replaced. We will be shutting down the steam and air handlers on Monday the 14th of June for approximately 5 hours starting at 9am, as a test to monitor the impact a lengthier shut down will have on the building later on in the week. If all goes well in regard to humidity etc. during the test day on the 14th of June, we will be shutting down the steam/air handlers to the whole building on Wednesday the 16th and replacing the isolation valve and tube bundle to the clean steam generator. The steam and air handlers will remain off until the 17th.  It is the intention of the mechanical shop to have all systems back and operational at the end of business on June 17th.

Services Impacted:  Whole building heat, humidity control, and supply air will be offline.
