Scope:  To finalize recent electrical building improvements, including increased redundancy for campus as well as a safer operating environment for U&E, a standby power outage must be performed in order to make final connections.

Services Impacted:  During this time there should be no noticeable effects on any operations, or by occupants, primarily due to this being a secondary system; but please feel free to take any precautions you see fit.

Special Instructions:  Please shut down and unplug all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. UPDATE for Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 7:00 am to 7:15 am:
Lease Crutcher Lewis will shut down one roof top exhaust fan for 15 minutes.  The EF3-1 affects restrooms and service rooms on the third floor: All Gender Restroom 311, Service 312B, Women’s Restroom 312, Electrical 354, Men’s Restroom 353

UPDATE for Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm:
As part of the re-roofing project the contractor will be pressure washing during this time, noise associated with this can be expected in the building and surrounding areas.

UPDATE 6/14/24:

  • Interior stairs will only be used during the project’s first week 6/17 through 6/21. (There is no elevator in Klamath.)
  • The contractor will begin prep work on the roof from 6/17 through 6/21.
  • Construction for the reroofing project will begin on 6/24 and last 4-5 months.
  • Scaffolding will be placed on the northeast corner of the building for the duration of the project.
  • An indoor air quality management plan will be implemented to manage and monitor air quality in and around the site.
