Scope:  A contractor will be performing the annual fire hydrant service on campus, including Spencer View at 7:00 am and the Autzen Sports Complex at 8:00 am.

Services Impacted:

  • All hydrants on campus will be serviced.
  • No traffic is expected to be impacted.

Date:  Friday evening, August 26th, 2022 through Sunday, August 28th, 2022

Scope:  Summer parking lot maintenance will be performed on the weekend.

Services Impacted:

  • The lots will be closed the preceding Friday night for both Saturday and Sunday work.
  • The lots will be re-opened as soon as the paint is dry.

Millrace Parking Garage Main Water Line Shutdown 8/23/21

Services Impacted:  This will only affect the fire sprinkler system and irrigation.

9/16/17: Fire System Shutdown Due to Hydrant Relocation Fenton, Gerlinger, Susan Campbell, JSMA & PLC

Campus Community,

As part of the Tykeson Hall project construction work between Johnson Hall, Chapman and Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, we are planning to move the fire hydrant located at the corner of Johnson Lane and Lot 25 at the Museum on Saturday, Sept 16, 2017. This work requires shutdown of the fire system water service to the following buildings:

  • Fenton Hall
  • Gerlinger Hall
  • Susan Campbell Hall
  • JSMA
  • PLC

The fire system water line will be shut down between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 16. During this time the fire sprinkler systems will not be active.  Fortis Construction will be conducting an active fire watch.  The main domestic water is not affected.  We anticipate vehicle access to lot 25 will not be impacted.
