Welcome to R Club! We are a student-lead group aiming to unlock the mysteries hidden behind the command prompt.

We’ll start from the basics, so no programming experience is needed per se, but students who have had some exposure to a similar programming language (like MATLAB) will definitely have an advantage. We’ll be using the instructional materials available from UCLA (http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/r/), as well as pooling resources from a couple other sources such as textbooks and the official R documentation. We enthusiastically encourage folks to come with specific tasks they’d like to learn, datasets they’d like to analyze, problems they’d like to solve, etc.
