UPDATE 7/06/23:
Due to renovations on the top floor of Fenton Stacks, the fire sprinkler system will need to be shut down for alterations on Thursday, July 20th, from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work will take place in room 314 but the shutdown will affect the entire building. The contractors involved are GB Construction and Harvey & Price.
Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.

UPDATE 6/28/23:
Due to alterations to the upper level of the Fenton Stacks (room 314), the network cables will need to be relocated on Monday, July 10th, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. This will involve some down-time for UO network cables and Wi-Fi access in Fenton 314, 214, and 114. This outage should not affect the main Fenton building users, but will affect the library stacks.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected: Fenton Hall
Scope: Fenton Hall room #314 (upper floor of the stacks) will be converted to office space. Starting the week of 4/24/23, GBC Construction will be on site performing demolition, adding new HVAC components, and building new walls within the space. Construction is scheduled to continue through August. Additional updates may be published for specific noise events or building system shutdowns.
Services Impacted: Building users in adjacent spaces may hear general construction noise, and elevator may be used to facilitate transportation of certain materials.
