UPDATE 4/16/20: The electrical shutdown has been delayed until a later date due to the University’s response to the social distancing recommendations. The revised date is TBD and will be decided as the CoVid-19 protocols change over the coming weeks.

Building or Area Impacted: Klamath Hall – Basement through the 2nd Floor
Scope: The electrical infrastructure improvement project needs to supply existing bus-duct with a new power source.
Services Impacted:
- Power and building systems will be offline, except for the third floor.
- This will affect electrical, exhaust, fume hoods, heating, HVAC, lab vacuum, and chilled water.
Extra Notes: Contractors can/will provide temporary power to freezers and high priority equipment. Please contact us prior to the shutdown if temporary power is needed.
Special Instructions:
- Please close fume hood sashes the night before.
- Please shut down all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. The software on these machines can be negatively affected due to the power surge when power is turned back on, a power surge can corrupt the clone files in the machines, and can change preconfigured settings.
