Course Description:
Through Readings, lectures, and activities, this course introduces a range of research methods useful to the field of arts administration. In this course, you will explore the language, process, and techniques of research while practicing skills including critical thinking, academic writing, sourcing and reviewing literature, key data collecting techniques, identifying ethical concerns, and drafting a research concept proposal. Through this process, we will also explore the broader purposes of applied and scholarly cultural research.
