Pediatric Occupational Therapist 

I have been an OT for the past 30 years and have worked in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle-Tacoma, and Eugene.  Experience in hospital, community, and outpatient clinic based therapy programs working with children with disabilities, cancer units, NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.  Provided Occupational Therapy services for children of all kinds of disabilities from birth to 21 years of age and older.  Assisted in developing home based programs/education for families.  Currently  I am working with Oregon Health and Science University with a position as Courtesy Faculty with UO providing lectures for Graduate students in the School of Education and Counseling and mentorship for students entering the field of Occupational Therapy.

I have several volunteer work experiences in Tanzania and Nicaragua where I assisted in developing Pediatric therapy programs for assessment and treatment of children.  Trainings for local community therapists gaining skills to work with children with disabilities and their families.

Currently working with a Grant Project creating Accessible Art programs for school aged children with disabilities. This grant is through the JSMA for the Saturday morning Art classes once a month. We have been offering these classes for the past 5 years and have been funded to continue through the 2016-2017 year.
