Scope:  Classroom #110 will be offline while it is being renovated.  This will include the replacement of the flooring and seating.

Services Impacted:  Typical construction activity and noises can be expected during this time.  The flooring work will take place at night.

12/23/24 – 01/01/25 Erb Memorial Union ID Services Office Holiday Closure

Department Key and Card/AMAG Admin:

The EMU and the ID Services Office will be closed from December 23rd – January 1st and reopening January 2nd.  Vanessa Abbott, Access Control Program Specialist, will also be unavailable during this time.

Key orders/dispersals/returns will not be processed during this time. You may still submit the requests but note that keys won’t be available for pick up until after January 2nd.

Prox access and Locknetic code requests will be processed by Angee from the Lock and Key Shop. You can contact her through the access request forms here: https://emu.uoregon.edu/key-and-access-office or at keyaccess@uoregon.edu.

Please plan accordingly as some requests might need to wait until the office reopens.

12/11/24 Columbia Hall Routine Drinking Water Monitoring Advisory

Hi All,

As a part of the University’s ongoing drinking water management program, Environmental Health and Safety is conducting routine drinking water monitoring in Columbia Hall on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. EHS will tag the drinking fountains by 8:00 am and will collect samples around 2:00 pm. Please do not use any tagged fixtures. All other fixtures within the building may be used as normal and the drinking fountains in Pacific Hall and Klamath Hall will be available. EHS will remove the tags as samples are collected, after which the fixtures may return to normal use.

EHS expects to receive results in early January. Results will be added to our online results at THIS LINK. Results exceeding EPA limits will be communicated to building occupants via CPFM Work Control.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Knight Library restrooms 126 and 127

Scope:  Knight Library restrooms 126 and 127 will have intermittent closures the week of December 9th and will be closed the week of December 16th for the installation of new partition walls. All other restrooms on the first floor of the library will remain open.

Services Impacted:

  • Restrooms 126 and 127 will be closed intermittently.
  • The closest restrooms are room 116 and room 120 which are near the front Circulation desk – see diagram below.
