C.R.A.P: This stands for contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. All are useful tools in creating a piece of branding that stands out and is easy to both identify and read, while also making it cohesive. They are excellent tools to keep in mind for designing branding, and to keep referring back to to ensure your piece is the best it can be.

Vector: This term is found in a few disciplines, but in this course refers specifically to using shapes, lines, directions, etc. (vector is both a direction and a force in physics) to create graphic designs. It can also be called a path.

Rasterize: To rasterize something or a set of things (a set of vector/path objects) is to unify them into one image that uses pixels so they can be manipulated in your deign program to create the image you want.

Opacity: Opacity refers to the level of transparency an object has. Something that is more opaque will be less transparent, while an object with less opacity will be more transparent. In graphic design, lowering opacity will allow the objects underneath to be more visible, while the opposite happens when the opacity in increased.
