1/19/24 – 1/26/24 Prince Lucien Campbell Building Heat Advisory

UPDATE 1/26/24:
The repairs are complete and steam has been restored.

 

UPDATE 1/26/24:
The contractors will be cutting and welding the pipes during the steam outage today.  Occupants may experience a slight smoke smell during this activity.

 

UPDATE 1/25/24:
The needed part has been received and repair work will take place tomorrow, January 26th, from 7:00 am until the end of the day.  Steam will be shut down and heat will be offline during this time. A notice will be sent when the work has been completed.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Prince Lucien Campbell

Scope:  Two steams valves for the heating system have failed.  A smaller valve was found to use temporarily until the new part arrives.  The contractor will install the new valves once received and they’ve been told to expect it on Friday.  An update will be sent when repairs have been completed.

Services Impacted:  Temperatures in the building are low.  The system is currently operating at approximately 30% to 40%.
