Annie Gilbert — President

Annie Gilbert is a fourth-year chemistry graduate student in the Pluth lab. Her research focuses on developing small molecule hydrogen sulfide donors. Outside of research, she enjoys running, rowing, and spending time with her cat, Olive.
Krystal Oon — Treasurer

Krystal is a fifth-year biology graduate student in the Prehoda Lab. Her research focuses on understanding how the actomyosin cytoskeleton is involved in polarizing neural stem cells. Outside of lab, she enjoys doing yoga and meditation, taking care of her fish and house plants, watching TV, eating, and reading.

I’m a 3rd year chemistry PhD student in Darren Johnson’s lab where I research potentiometric anion sensors. I went to undergrad at Creighton University (go Jays) but I’m originally from Minnesota. When I’m not in lab, I enjoy running, hiking, cooking & afternoon naps.
Raleigh Goodwin — Seminar Chair

Raleigh is a second-year psychology graduate student working with Dr. Ellen Peters in the CAIDe lab. Her research focuses on how people make judgments and decisions about politicized and environmental topics and how to decrease or eliminate biases in reasoning on such topics. In her free time, Raleigh enjoys going for walks in nature, reading, and watching Netflix with her cat.

Alison is a third year Masters student doing a dual masters degree in nonprofit management and geography. Alison is in the Silva Lab and her research focuses on forest regeneration following high-severity wildland fire. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, reading, and being taken for walks by her two dogs.

Bernice is a second year graduate student in the Psychology department, working with Dr. Elliot Berkman. She studies how people perceive and achieve their goals from both the behavioral neuroscience perspective and social psychological perspective. She is from China and came to the US for college. She enjoys watching movies, exploring new restaurants, taking care of her cats and petting other people’s dogs.

Kelly is a 2nd year psychology PhD student in the Cognitive-Neuroscience area working with Dr. Sereno. She studies integrative visual perception with a focus on how context impacts shape and pattern perception. Outside of the lab Kelly loves visiting wineries, searching for fancy desserts, and Lord of the Rings marathons on chilly days.
Sarah Donaldson — Public and Alumni Relations Chair

Sarah Donaldson is a fifth-year psychology graduate student in the Developmental Social Neuroscience lab led by Dr. Jenn Pfeifer. She studies how reproductive hormones influence the development of romantic feelings and behaviors in adolescent girls. Outside the lab, Sarah enjoys hikes, wineries, Hulu, and her little dog Izzy.
Lindsay Rait — Undergraduate Mentorship Chair

Lindsay is a second-year psychology graduate student in the Cognitive-Neuroscience area working with Dr. Sarah DuBrow. She studies how contextual information (e.g., where and when something occurs) shapes our memory, and how this is represented in the brain. Outside of the lab, Lindsay enjoys baking, reading, and exploring new hikes and wineries.

Vi is a fourth year PhD student in the McKnight Lab. She studies why organisms use energy to organize DNA into certain patterns. Outside of lab, she can be found gardening, playing video games, and becoming an amateur naturalist.
