- Intellectual Property- the patented, copyrighted, or published discoveries, ideas, and innovations of an individual. It acts as a form of intangible ownership, but important to distinguish amongst professionals, academics, and those hoping to make money fairly from their ideas.
- Minimalist- the intentional use of design elements in a way which is not busy, and intentionally puts emphasis on one or a few main elements by being sparse.
- Transmedia- the telling of stories, or the relaying of information, through a variety of differing technological platforms.
- Affiliation- a relationship, partnership, or connection between two different entities. Affiliation between different organizations can act as both a means of strength and social capital, and as a hinderance, depending on the situation.
