UPDATE 3/31/22:
The parts have not arrived yet, so the work is now planned for Wednesday, April 13th, 2022.

 

UPDATE 3/10/22:
This work has been rescheduled, starting today, March 10th, and ending Friday, April 1st.
An additional room has been added to the areas affected:  Room 473

 

UPDATE 2/23/22:
This shutdown has been postponed. Additional preparation is being required from the contractor prior to proceeding.
Revised shutdown period is expected to shift approximately one week and a revised notice will be sent when the times are confirmed.

Building(s) or Area(s) Impacted:  Onyx Bridge 461, 461A, 461B, 464, 464A, 466, 467, 468, 469, 470 plus 473

Scope:  The air handler on the 4th floor of Onyx Bridge will be affected as upgrades are made over a 2-3 week period.

Services Impacted:

  • The 4th floor will continue to be heated through the radiant heat system and the fume hoods will continue to operate during this period, keeping lab spaces under negative pressure.
  • Impacts will be limited to spaces on the north side of the 4th floor.
