Esther Kwak (Senior BM Clarinet Performance and Music Education) was recently named the winner of the 2018 Chamber Music Society of Oregon Concerto Competition, performing Debussy’s Première Rhapsodie for Clarinet and Orchestra. She will appear as a soloist with the Oregon Sinfonietta performing Debussy at Sunnyside Advent Church in Portland, OR on Sunday, January 20, 2019. The admission is free, so please come and attend Esther’s concert in January!

Darlene Mueller (2nd year MM Clarinet Performance) was invited to play at the live round audition for 2nd/E-flat Clarinet position for the St. Louis Symphony and will be traveling to St. Louis, MO this week to participate in the audition.
