Marketing, Media, Communications learning reflection
- I want to gain some arts marketing information about US, because I am not familiar with it. Through taking this class, I am eager to know what do American arts organizations operate? How to analyse arts marketing and how to attract audiences?
I know some organization’s brand and promotion from this class. From brand awareness activity assignment to graphic standards, taking class I know some American’s company through teacher and classmate. Especially for case study analysis, via environment scan and SWOC I learn more about culture organizations.
- With the development of technology, digital culture becomes a prevalent new trend. Touch and lean how to use adobe software such as AI, PS, Final Cut, etc…
Through the class I begin to know and use some professional design software, before the class all of them are strange to me. Although I am not very familiar with these software, I get deeper understand about them.
- Gain knowledge about graphic, typesetting and printing standards. I think this will be helpful to my future career.
The final assignment graphic standard makes me know more about typesetting and printing standards. In the process that make graphic standard by my own, I know some new skills.
- Familiar with pivotal elements of arts marketing and begin to form my own idea to art marketing.
I think this learning goal now looks some strange. I am eager to know about many knowledge of art marketing, but I forget it is impossible to form own idea in a short time. Because art is a very deep and wide field, if want to have specific idea that must grasp many knowledge. While, for now I cannot touch the level.
- Expand the knowledge of art communication, by reading materials, visit someplace and so on.
From every week’s lexicon creation, we explain many words about art and communication. At the same time, I read every week’s reading materials which help me a lot to have a deeper understand about art marketing and communication.
