Multimedia In Arts Administration Showcase ePortfolio Timeline Assignment description: Students create a timeline, a chronology of events to complete their websites. Click here to view the embedded video. Reflection: This video I made of nearly four minutes focuses on the struggle for democracy in Uganda. Uganda is a nation in East Africa where I have stayed and worked as a journalist for all my life. I made the video by We Video and downloaded it into Vimeo. Later i uploaded the movie into my ePortfolio. I saved the still pictures, and dragged them in recording. I added the background music under the style navigation button, then edited captions. After uploading on Vimeo, i got the link and saved in my ePortfolio. It took me time to figure out, but it was fun to learn how to do it. Assignment Description Students pick a Web 2.0 app that they use, and/or one they are interested in knowing more about, to write a brief abstract about its features, application, and value. This will be presented like a product review, approximately a page in length, and submitted as a PDF. These will be shared on my instructional blog. Web 2.0 apps include Diigo, Skype, Prezi, Evernote, Flickr, hulu, digg, weebly, Linkedin, and many more. Here is a PDF of my assignment:

The website assignment is one of the most challenging projects I have had to complete here. The timeline is a useful tool to help keep me on track and also acts as a checklist.
