I ran into some problems with trying to do the waffle script with Grasshopper. I had the template open and was creating my own script below it and closed the curves (I checked each curve multiple times to make sure they were closed). The loft function worked and then I attempted to cap it – I had the whole script written out before I started enabling things so I at least got the experience of doing the commands and figuring out what connects to what and why. I got a red error from the “Cap” command and the bubble said I needed to use a “brep” which I tried using google, youtube, and my studio mates to figure out how to do it with no such luck. I did not contact my TA or GEs because I chose to go out to the protests in Portland and then the tenth week was over. So, it is my fault that I didn’t invest enough time to complete the project, I know and accept that, but I needed a chance to explain myself.
