Hi Dylan,
In the future, focus on systems rather than just individual categories of information. In this case, the poster broadly describes whales, but it does not clearly identify the unit (individual? pod? species?) and related variations. I see length by species, diet with no clear parameter of variation, and locations of migrations, etc, but none of these seem to relate to any other. Do whales eat different things based on where they are? On what type of whale they are? How does human-caused death relate to migration?
Graphically, colored backgrounds will always look messy if they have diagrams with their own backgrounds layered over them. Either pull out the backgrounds in the diagrams (linework only on blue background) or stick with a white background. Make sure to prioritize lines over fills or images; lines can show connection and continuity, which are both missing in this poster.
In the future, try to have a rough draft of your work on Thursday- that way I can work with you so that you have an opportunity to fix it before you submit.
