The graphic layout seems to be a bit distracting with the background map color and the background to the chart-like diagrams. I would argue that more white space could benefit the legibility of the diagrams moving forward. As a composition, referring to the positioning of the diagrams to each other, it is quite nice how the map frames the text and circle diagram
A legend may also be nice in allowing for the chart contained to the circles to be understood.
In terms of content I think you guys captured quite a bit, however there should be more about the outside influence on these conditions you are charting. For example, I see a well illustrated path of the whale migration, however, can you also chart how it changes by year while also showing human intervention of those years? That can come in the form of offshore fishing, level of pollution, or things of that sort.
Great to see you all attempting these more challenging graphic styles. It will pay off to keep pushing yourselves like this.
