I think there is a lot of success in your intention behind line direction and purposeful crossing of different hatches or marks. I think if they could express a gradient of conditions in lineweights it would be even more successful. Maybe using other lines to express echo? Dampened sound? It would add another layer of information and increase legibility.
In your plan you can also diversify lineweights to show a difference in permanent vs. non-permanent components, cut lines, and glazing conditions. Otherwise, the room seems pretty well documented!
