Horror-Buffy the Vampire Slayer Video
Non-diegetic example: in the Hush Buffy the vampire episode, when the guy kissing the girl in the classroom at 1:30 in the video, the girl said “..that’s strange…”, and then there has some strange sounds and music happened at that time, but that cannot seen, just can be heard, so I think that is a kind of non-diegetic sound. And this kind of sound is a little creepy and wired. But this kind of music is link to the next plot, because in the next plot, there is a girl appeared in Buffy’s dream, So I think this is a good connection in that story. Thus, from this kind of non-diegetic sounds is good to make the plot become horrible, and attracts audience’s interests.
Diegetic sound example: I think in this video, the diegetic sounds is appears in the 2:20 in the video, when the girl went out from the classroom, she saw a girl standing over the end of the lobby, and singing a song, at that moment, I guess that girl is a ghost, because this is a similar plot in lots of horror movies. The little girl wearing red clothes and standing there, just like she wearing the ‘Blood’ clothes, that’s makes me scared, so I think when the diegetic sounds appears in the horror movies, people can see the frames and pictures. I think that is more horrible that non-diegetic sounds.
Mise-en-scene example: I think the mise-en-scene is happened in the 44:15 in the video, because the frame is move from the Buffy and that guy fight with ghost to Buffy with that girl walking in the campus, so I think this is a sign for audiences that the plot is moving to a new story. But I think that is moving too fast, because I think that after the fight, Buffy and that man maybe have a talk, but the video plot is just move to another plot. However, this is also a good transition of the plot. But this is not make me feel scared.

At the beginning, before the little girl shows up, the music pulled the audiences attention. We know some thing is going to happen there, which is a good connection in the story. And i like how you connect the red clothes to the blood clothes, because in the video, those monsters take people’s heart off which will make victim’s clothes red.

The reason why I think that girl in red is a ghost is because I like watching the horror movies with my friends at night, when someone wearing the red clothes is always the main character of the film, and that one is always makes me feel scared. I think everybody watch horror movies fear part is different, some people think the plot is not terror, the horrorible part is the background music, while others think the story is horrorible. However, for me, I think the people wearing red clothes is makes me fear, because that person always do some horrible things and that one always female, and appears in some quiet area, like restroom, and hotels. Thus, I think red clothes is the main horror part in some horror movies.
