Lewis Integrative Science Building (LISB) Room 206 Construction Advisory 5/14/21 – 7/9/21

Building Impacted:  Lewis Integrative Science Building (LISB) 206.

Scope:  A specialty equipment closet will be built in an existing space.  Work involves mechanical, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and moving.

Services Impacted:

  • The contractors will be working in room 206 and will maintain limited, restricted access to room 206, 206A and 206B.
  • No additional electrical or HVAC disruptions are known at this time.  A shut down notice will be issued as necessary.
  • Building access will be maintained during construction but may require minor detours.
  • Users can expect to hear construction noises like hammering, drilling, grinding, and see construction personnel and UO staff entering and exiting the building during normal business hours.

Work performed by:  Preferred Construction, Phoenix Mechanical, Siemens, and CPFM Facilities Construction Services.
