Scope: PeaceHealth North will conduct their required annual testing of the fire panel and devises including testing the two elevators.
Services Impacted:
- There will be an unknown but hopefully short period of time that they will test the audio, strobe, door holders, etc. It will be very loud during this time and hearing protection is recommended. PeaceHealth North is providing ear plugs if anyone wants them.
- Nobody needs to evacuate the building during this testing.
Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
