Wood Joinery

This is the pictures from my wood joinery later done in the class. It is a wood stand with adjustable angle to support my metaphor. Instead of having the metaphor sitting on top, I have it up-side-down to blend in with the stand. Therefore, creating this unique characteristics of solid and void spaces. This represents the the views beyond the hard structures like Architecture objects and the soft structure like the sky and the river. I am intrigued by the intersection and connection of the two objects,I see them as the railroads, bridges, and river that go through the city and how those blood vessels cultivates the city in order to grow the tall buildings like water cultivates the plants.
