ELAN is excited to welcome Amy Rogers as our new Financial Chair for the 2013/2014 academic year!
From Southern California, Amy Rogers graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She comes to the Arts Administration program with a background in dance, teaching, business management, hospitality management, and performing arts venue operations. Amy brings a love for managing and event coordination to the ELAN team this year.
Bridging a passion for arts and management is what brought Amy to the University of Oregon. With a strong background in the performing arts, Amy believes in being an advocate for all the arts. Aside from the Financial Chair duties in her leadership position, Amy hopes to bring a stronger focus of all arts concentrations to ELAN and incorporate more performing arts into events. Attendance at many conferences including The Oregon Arts Summit, the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, and the Performing Arts Managers Conference have solidified Amy’s confidence as a future leader in arts management. She has also serves as a leader of the Student Advisory Group. Welcome, Amy!
