Unbuilt Exhibition

ELAN is excited to announce our partnership with the HOPES[24] Conference on the upcoming student exhibition: UNBUILT. We are proud to provide this platform of expression for our creative community.

UNBUILT is thematically encapsulated conversations around unheard voices, untold stories and challenging the norm. We want your artwork to represent the voice of the present, about what is happening right now that makes you want to speak up and break down barriers. This theme is open to interpretation and all media will be encouraged.

What is the HOPES Conference?
The HOPES Conference is an annual event, held every spring by the Ecological Design Center, a student group at the University of Oregon. Inaugurated in 1994, the conference is an opportunity for students, faculty, community members, and visiting scholars to discuss the relationship between ecology and various design disciplines, and how this connection can produce sustainable solutions to contemporary problems. Over the years, it has developed into a multi-disciplinary event that is open to collaboration and interpretation.
