1/11/24 – Unknown – Johnson Hall Women’s Restroom 006 Repair and Closure Advisory

UPDATE 2/21/24:
Work has been postponed until further notice.  We thought we had pinpointed the source of the leak from the porch above, but discovered it is still active.  A notice will be sent when further work will be done.  The restroom is open until that time.

UPDATE 2/20/24:
Thursday, February 22nd, and Friday, February 23rd, the women’s restroom will be closed for drywall repair and painting.  Work will be performed by the CPFM Paint Shop.  Building occupants can expect noise and possibly some paint odor during this time.

UPDATE 1/11/24:
During today’s repair work to the ceiling, moisture was discovered.  It is unknown if this is remaining from the previous damage or coming from a new source.  Containment is being set up and a dehumidifier is being placed to dry out the ceiling in the corner of the room.  The restroom will still be accessible during this time, however one sink will be unavailable within the containment area.  An update will be sent when repairs have been completed.
