Scope: As part of warranty repairs, Alliant will replace the steam meter sensor in the basement mechanical room 001. At some point during the day, the steam will be shut down, for 30-minutes, to allow for this replacement – see attached Method of Procedure.
Services Impacted:
- Steam will be offline for 30 minutes, affecting the building heat.
- Smoke alarms will be placed in test mode and fire watch will be actively conducted by the contractor.
Special Instructions: Any alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
