Midterm Review
After the first week of this term, I spent most of time emphasized the central circulation which helps engage people’s activities and structure system.
Using the bridge language, I try to create traveling paths with a lot fun and make the functionally work well.
Thinking about the facade, I try to simplify the pattern language which mainly includes glazing area and perforated metal panel. However, in the central area, I added some dynamic elements which emphasize the environment and difference with the outside facade.
In the rest of term, I will put more energy on ECS research and Daylighting design.
Learning about architectural concepts through such reviews really helps to deepen the understanding of the design processes when traveling.
