1) Become proficient at creating my ePortfolio to share my academic and professional advancements. This will then in the future prepare me for building websites for my professional career in the Arts Management world.
When I first started creating this blog, I had a lot of trouble, but by week 3 got the hang of it. I would like to say that my portfolio now is a concrete collection of all of my work for the class.
2) Develop skills in graphic designing, as I have no knowledge or background in this area.
I amazing and proud of how much I have learned in graphic design through adobe illustrator and indesign! I feel confident in creating ads and posters now for a business, and feel like I have more to offer to a company. I look forward to gaining even better skills next term.
3) Learn more about working with 3D art, as this will be a useful skill to know.
Although I did not learn how to create 3D art, we talked and learned about how it is created. So I have a better understanding of it now.
4) Become competent in designing and executing materials for arts and culture programming such as flyers, posters, brand logos.
Through reading the design books, and Erik & John’s help, I now know how to use design programs. I am so proud of the work I created, for at the beginning of the term it all seemed like a daunting task.
5) Expand my existing skills in computer software and web design. Gain new knowledge on computer software I have never used or have limited experience working with.
I accomplished this by using the design programs throughout the term. The hands on instruction we received the very beneficial. When I began this class 10 weeks ago I had no experience with design programs!
