My name is Alexis Thompson, and this portfolio is to keep track of my academic and professional work during my time at the University of Oregon. I am currently working on my Masters in Arts Administration, with a performing arts emphasis.

Ms. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education with Instrumental Emphasis in French horn, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida. Following graduation she won a job playing with the 2011 Disneyland All American College band in Anaheim California. Ms. Thompson joined the United States Navy as a Musician in September 2011. She was stationed in Naples, Italy from 2012-2015, performing with the Naval Forces Europe Band. She has taught music in grades K-12, and has been teaching private piano and French horn lessons for 10 years. In her free time she enjoys dancing, hiking, biking, scuba diving, swimming, and most recently started taking aerial silk lessons.
