I think if people always keep high spirit to do something, the affairs will be accomplished so well. I also think that spirit is a kind of virtual support, or psychological support. Through my personal experience, spirit is something which is deep down in people’s minds and hearts. Spirit can represent people’s personal characters, and personal temperaments. Sometimes people’s outlooks and adornments show their spirits. Furthermore, someone’s spirits are irreplaceable, because everyone is unique to the world.

However, I would not consider myself to be a very spiritual man or even at all, but there were parts of Grey’s article I found to be very interesting. There are Zen painters that cleared their mind and allowed the painting to flow out of them. “When I am painting I am in a state of unconsciousness… the act of painting becomes a state of ‘flow’…” (Grey, 101). However, from not being a spiritual person I don’t necessarily see how this is painting spiritually. I believe that they have been tapping into a different level of consciousness. After all, we should keep our own reality. I don’t want to take away from people’s spirituality but I think that if we believe in something hard enough we can truly make it our reality.
