2024 Spring Game Attendance Awards Competition

The Oregon Spring Game is this Saturday, April 27th at 1pm. FSL Members – scan your UO ID at the South Gate to help your chapter win…it’s that easy!*

Coach Lanning wants a huge turnout form the FSL community so let’s help make it the biggest Spring Game turnout by FSL EVER!.

The South Gate is right across the bridge as you are walking from campus. FSL will have a pop-up tent set up. Bring your UO student ID to enter. Winning chapters will receive an invitation to play a flag football game at Autzen, photoshoot, and other perks.

FSL representatives will be checking people in from noon until halftime.

We encouraged our community to bring non-perishable food items to donate to FOOD For Lane County.

*chapters must have a their Spring roster turned in to participate in the contest

Winter 2024 Grade Rankings

Oregon FSL would like to congratulate 👏👏 Kappa Alpha Theta on winning the Winter 2024 GPA Championship 🥇 with an FSL best 3.51! ΚΑΘ have been knocking on the door for awhile now… and this term they made it to the top of the academic podium. Congratulations!

With a 3.45 GPA, Delta Tau Delta is back on top of IFC after a brief hiatus. The Delts are the longstanding top academic weapons of FSL and we welcome you back with a (figurative) gold medal for your efforts.

Chi Psi was putting in WORK this term it paid off as their GPA GLOWED UP +.27… far and away the biggest improvement over Fall ’23. Kappa Alpha Theta took the GLOW UP award for all sororities. We bestow upon them a bevy of academic riches. We see you getting greedy KAΘ (and we love it!). Beta Theta Pi and Alpha Tau Omega both had a very respectable +.19 increase in GPA that is worth mentioning. Great job!

Additional shoutout to Alpha Chi Omega for posting the second best overall GPA of 3.47! Delta Gamma (3.44) & Gamma Phi Beta (3.40) both crushed the UO and all women averages as well.

I am sure we are leaving some folks out (like Sigma Nu for achieving the second best GPA in IFC with the largest chapter)… But, kudos to everyone in our community @uo_msfc @uo_phc @uo_nphc @uo_ifc for their excellent work, we had a staggering 717 FSL students make the Dean’s List and 228 earn a 4.0 and above! Detailed grade rankings and the current Glow Up standings can be found HERE.

2024 Emerging Leaders Retreat

Registration Links are now open for the 2024 Emerging Leaders Retreat for both emerging FSL leaders and peer facilitators. Camp is April 19th -21st and registration has been extended to April 12th. Every chapter must send at least one representative.

Emerging Leaders Retreat (ELR) is an annual program focused on developing our newest leaders into their best selves. Created in 2016, this program has provided resources and skill training for over 500 University of Oregon Fraternity and Sorority members. This program originally focused on providing strength education to students, but now encompasses community building, personal leadership development, and creating a team of leaders ready to take on any challenge.

The 2024 Emerging Leaders Retreat is a program designed specifically for first and second year members of the University of Oregon fraternity and sorority community. In order to foster a culture of leadership, Fraternity and Sorority Life created the Oregon Greek Emerging Leaders Retreat to help a select group of first and second year members gain the skills necessary to help their chapter continually improve.

Peer facilitators will work with a small group of emerging leaders throughout the weekend. They will facilitate conversation and guide them as they work through the curriculum of the retreat.
