About: Caitlin grew up in Orange County, CA, and attended California State University, San Bernardino for undergrad and Pepperdine University for graduate school. She has been advising fraternities and sororities for more than 20 years in California, Georgia and Oregon. Caitlin has served as a volunteer for many national fraternity and sorority leadership programs, the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute, the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors, The National Order of Omega, and served as the first chair of the Board of Directors for the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values. She loves exploring Oregon with her son, AJ, who often appears at FSL events.
What do you love about being a duck?: I love the passion Ducks have for UO. Everywhere you go, you see green and yellow. People are so proud to be affiliated with this university. It truly is a family.

Leo Serrato

About: Leo grew up in the Central Valley of California. He attended California State University, Fresno, where he received his Bachelor and Masters Degree. Leo has been working as a Fraternity and Sorority Life Advisor for the past six year and has worked at Fresno State, Sonoma State, Indiana University and now UO. Leo’s passion is anti-hazing and educating the members of the FSL community. He has traveled the country educating members on many different college campuses. Leo loves sport and his fur babies.
What do you love about being a duck?: Though I have not been here long, I have already felt the love that the UO community has and how they take care of each other.

Elizabeth Wanersten, M.Ed.

About: Elizabeth is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended George Mason University for undergrad and Clemson University for graduate school. While at Clemson, Elizabeth worked primarily with the Interfraternity Council and served as the Chapter Counselor for the Delta Nu Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Elizabeth is passionate in areas relating to membership development and engagement as well as member safety and wellbeing. Elizabeth loves coffee shops, exploring Eugene, and learning new recipes to make in her crock pot.
What do you love about being a duck: Although new to the institution, it is very apparent how much students love enjoy being at UO and she is excited for her first year!
Administrative Program Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life
Jadd E. Tryon
Education: B.S. Journalism: Communications; B.S. Film
Organization: Lifelong Duck!
About: Jadd was born and raised in Eugene and returned home after stops in North Carolina, Portland, and Seattle. He graduated from the University of Oregon with degrees in Journalism and Multimedia then attended Film School at Portland State. Jadd has worked for Netflix, Nike, Hard Rock Café, and NORTH in analytics, IT, video production, commercial photography, business management, and marketing. He enjoys playing with his two kittens – Milli & Vanilli, gardening, camping, hiking, concerts, witty puns, taking pictures, making time-lapse videos, comedy podcasts, terrible puns, fermenting his own hot sauce, and jumping off rocks into very cold water. In the fall you can find him in the woods with his partner Krystal and their dog Tater, foraging for mushrooms, chasing waterfalls in the rain, and rooting for his beloved Ducks!
What do you love about being a Duck? Everything! As a native Eugenian and alumnus, I’ve been a Duck my whole life. Working for the University of Oregon is like a dream coming true every day. Yes, I know that’s cheesy, but I don’t care. GO DUCKS!
