Welcome to my digital portfolio! As an arts manager, organizer, and practicing visual artist, I advocate for the arts as a platform for contemporary issues. Education includes a MS in Arts Management and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from University of Oregon, and a BA in Art History and BFA in Studio Art from Montana State University. Recent research focuses on experimental art practice in rural context, and explores role of contemporary arts organizations in redefining “rural” and realizing rural issues in the 21st century, including agriculture and land use, food systems, education, and community development. I recently published a digital field guide about rural art installations: Reinstalling Rural
